PoolRx Pool Unit:

PoolRx contains a proprietary blend of minerals that continuously eliminate algae. The treated alloy cylinder is packed with PoolRx's granular formulation, which dissolves immediately and creates a stable residual in the water for up to 6 months. This system eliminates algae while allowing chlorine to be more effective. During filtration, the minerals rejuvenate as they pass through the cylinder, working synergistically with low levels of chlorine.

Ideal for Salt Pools:

PoolRx improves the saltwater experience by reducing the need for salt chlorine production, prolonging the life of the salt cell, and reducing the need for acid to balance pH. This saves money, extends equipment life, and improves water quality.

Directions for Use:

• Clean or backwash the filter and remove debris from the skimmer and pump basket before use.
• Place the PoolRx unit into the pump basket or skimmer, preferably in the pump basket for better water flow.
• Ensure the pool pump has 3-4 hours of runtime left to fully dissolve the granular contents.
• Run the pump during the hottest part of the day.
• Ensure the pool's water volume turns over at least 1.5 times per day (usually 6-8 hours of pump runtime).
• Do not backwash or clean the filter for at least 2 weeks after installation to allow the granules to dissolve fully through the filter (cartridge, D.E., or sand).

Maintenance

Maintain normal pool chemistry ranges:

• Replace the PoolRx unit in the basket every 12 months.
• If algae reappears or the water looks dull, it's time to add PoolRx booster minerals.

• Add a PoolRx booster after 4-6 months if needed.

• No need for phosphate removers, algaecides, or clarifiers.
• PoolRx is not compatible with bromine or biguanides.
• Do not add Cal-Hypo products directly to the pool. Cal-Hypo products must be diluted before adding to the pool.
